paulus 26
Has any one on here got/used one of these, are they any good ?? they have been around for years mainly used by the falconry lads in the early days due to there weight. i had one about 15 years ago, there light to carry. hygenic due to the material, easy to clean, just as warm as wood and just as durable, so all good Quote Link to post

I would not touch them again with a bargepole. Sam Quote Link to post

Sam the one a lad made for me years ago had non of them problems, it was 5mm plastic all glued togeather, never had a broblem with condensation as it was full of air holes, yes it was black and if you left it in the sun would cause a problem but hopefully people have more sense than that. tomano1 80
Think they could be ok depends on the polaurathene which is short name for plastic there are about 100 different types could actually make one they are glued with chloroform which as u no is toxic but is ok when dry very strong boxes if right plastic like the ones they used to use in banks u could hit with a hammer only no this cos used to be a plastic sign maker long time ago Quote Link to post
