1Wally 204
it must add something good to them as half the lurcher world cant be wrong. if the old type lurcher was good enuf then the bullx would not exist. ive not seen any other cross that can stand the sh*t a bullx dose day in day out. they are bred to do a job and in my opinion there is not an other cross that comes close to the bullx. ya have never had a wheaten x then. can do the same job with ease no mate ive not seen one run. here ya go mate this bitch is live to hand and charlie single handed works a hole well and marks them aswell I like the look of that dog mate Quote Link to post
hullhunter 219
it was a collie x. was one that he bourght in was ment to be a world beater lol rip that dog. and before u put me into the cock extension category all my bullx's are the racey type. but yes a lot of people do have them just for there looks. some might say my dogs are good lucking dogs but that is not why i have then there here to do a job. i like the way they run also like the way they are at home and with my kids and they look after the yard to. robwelsh 354
i didnt put you into the cock extension catagory..and iv also never heard anyone taking a terrier lamping, that caught more than a lurcher...and how did i know it would be a collie x? lol what i posted wasnt aimed at you or anyone...i was purely making a point that theres alot more shit bred dogs than there is good these days, and people breeding stupid big heavy dogs to have some macho fighting dog ..thats what it seems to me...iv only seen a handfull of bull x's that i would have myself..and iv seen more bull x's than any other breed of lurcher..99% of people i see with a lurcher..its a bull x..and surely its not that many proper bred bulls around these days? from proper backgrounds? or am i missing something? mick.dundee 2
A lot of people are saying years ago dogs without bull did the job ect. What about years ago on the fen when dogs without suluki killed hares. So whats all the fuss about sulukis? Cos they kill more hares more regular than any other cross. People accept that now as proven. Maybe in another 10 20 years if the bull remains as popular as it is, people will start to accept it instead of reminising about the good old days. Not saying the bull x is the only way to go, but a lot of people seem to right off the cross as a posers dog just because some are owned by posers 1 Quote Link to post
