Found this old clip on the British Pathe website!! it's an interesting clip of day's gone by 29/03/1923 Blue Terrier Trials at Crumlin, Ireland.

 

I'd like some views on the dog's please! rather than a debate on the practice's shown, but! they are of some historical interest

I found this clip about eight years ago, there are some other goood clips too one of an old badger dig and a number of clips of hounds

if my memory serves me right, that clip has already been previously posted and discussed. don't see any harm in putting it up myself, a look at a bygone age, many things perfectly exceptable then, that wouldn't be now.

FFS it is of historical interest , it was perfectly legal at the time , filmed by PATHE news , a bastion of respectability , in a sympathetic light , . lets not start denying the past just to appease those who don,t approve.
