I think theres more risk of having your dogs nicked if your out walking them and someone follows you home, or if you have workmen doing some work on your property and they get a chance to look around your kennels and see the layout. thats more risky than a pic on a forum IMO how bout a picture on a forum that hundreds of prying eyes can see...where are all the top men on heres pics of themselves, their kennels etc...switch on and get real, the law are all over this site,,100% garaunteed and so will the scum... Border Terrier 0 Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 I dont know any of the people who have posted pics of their kennels, dont know them from their posts and dont know where they live from looking at the pics, so lets say I was a potential dog theif, Im not going to get a very good turn out of reading these forums am I? Id be better off going through the paper looking for lurcher pups advertised and then going to look at the peoples kennels cos that arouses less suspiciouns, or maybe drive around and look for someone walking there dogs and follow them back to their house without them noticeing. What Im trying to say is there is easier ways of getting info on someones dogs and kennels than browsing through forums Quote Link to post

wink hound 0 Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 not actually mine, there a friend of a friends, but will be getting something very similar very soon. really easy to clean, completly bomb proof. and very easily tranferable. i have never been so impressed with kennels, could be argued they are a little small, but i dont think so. and as a bonus not actually that expensive. wink Quote Link to post

Man, i wish i had enough work to enable me to work the number of dogs you have!...must be some game numbers in your neck of the wood!...seems i choose the wrong state to move too!..lol. Autumnbriar 0 Posted April 23, 2007 Report Share Posted April 23, 2007 Jay, I work a core number of dogs..... not all of them, some a retired, some are just growing others are breeding stock, of the 14 lurchers, only four are seasoned, 2 are retired (1 is 10years old, the other is injured) 4 have been started, the others are up and coming pups. Either I or my partners run coyotes Oct - Febuary the dogs are out 2-4 times per week, one gets banged up it's double time for another at the end of this season only two were still sound. My goal is to always have 4 pairs. I have them paired by function, we have small area's where the timber is not so thick and the stags can really open up, then I have area's where it's a freaking nightmare.... and the collie crosses do better, hopefull my bull crosses can handle these area's as well too.... ( I still dream of getting out your way to run jack rabbits.....) Terrier work is very spotty here, the ground is like concrete in the summer and heavy mud spring and fall, of the 22 +/- terriers, this season I will be only working with 6 of them, (Venus, Frankie, Toby, Charm, Tootie and Mercury) ....... Kye 77 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Share Posted April 24, 2007 Im in the Mid-West now,...but we have Kansas right next door!...supposed to be some hares there, and i know theres LOADS of yotes....we will realy be after them this fall/winter!... My dogs havent run a hare/rabbit for about 10 months!...LOADS of work on others critters though, mostly raccoons, which has helped them learn how to kill stuff, without taking too much stick...
