Guest born to run1083 Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 (edited) The game wasnt to bad I think regardless of what anyone says for 60 mins England didn't let Wales play the game they like to, Our 9 needed a bullet there's playing slow ball then there's that. Ref def spoilt the game, our 9 should of been told to '' use it'' many a time and was very in consistent. Personally I think the score didnt flatter the game it should of been higher. Wales gave one try away simple by pure greed they were in. I think before the changes happened Englands defence was great, they lost shape soon as the the replacements came on so a youth team could of got through them gaps. Hopefully a lesson to be learnt. We can be happy that we won today, but there were flashes of a very powerfull England team in the making there for a while. Have no doubt they will be back with a very good team, they always do. If any of you Enland RFU supporters out there want to step accross the bridge with your allegeiances to a winning country, with a winning culture, and a winning rugby team your more than welcome, we take all sorts of disillusioned ex RFU fans here. We like to call it re- habillitation, once you get back on your feet you can swap back over, perhaps by then you'll have a team worth following , could be a few years tho lol. Only kidding, very entertaining game of rugby to watch, England were better than i was expecting and Wales weren't as good as i was expecting. But a win is a win. Bootsha 1,306 Posted February 27, 2012 Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 It's like the foreign legion Tomo, I supose when the game went professional and large sums of money were available for the quality players, regardless who's country etc etc, it ended up like hiring mercenaries i'm afraid, you cant blame the players, the playing carreer is a short one, they gotta make the dollar when they can. One good thing though, in the top flight levels of rugby nowadays, the standard hasn't half improved, thoroughly well worth watching, especially, dare i say it, the english premiership, if we could fill stands like they do weekly, that'd be a big plus for us and the clubs.
