danny airarms 2 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 hi well im thinking about getting myself a hawk but would like to know alot more about it before i go getting one and not having a clue what to do . my questions are *whats the easiest hawk to learn with *what will i need *pricing * and general care for the bird i.e time spent with her/him training and feeding sorry for all the questions but wouldnt like to get one, but need to do my homework before trying to care for one without any knowledgeable background Quote Link to post
Callum. 2 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 I'm pretty sure Harris Hawks and Red-Tailed buzzard are considered the 'easiest' starter birds. You will need alot of equipment,not really sure what though... A HH will cost about 300 quid I think... I have heard they are quite a bit of work,you need a decent space to keep them in remember...
