geoff37 3
I've just applied for redundancy from the army after 18 years service and if accepted could be out by Dec this year. I've got a class C licence and will have about £3500 to spend on courses for resettlement so am looking into getting a few more driving qualifications. Is there anyone on here who drives for a living who could give me a steer on useful licences to have or is driving on good money a thing of the past? Cheers

PlasticJock 539
HAZMAT. I believe it's got to be refreshed every 3 years but supposed to be worth it. Use your SLC for a first aid qual, as the ELC can only be used for level 3 quals. Gook luck mate.

Nik_B 3,790
p.s there's a bunch of jobs you can do. There's the first aid stuff, working overseas looking after rig/mine personel and liasing with local police/army, then there's health and safty (filling forms in) etc etc
