Milbro catty question

Any idea on how to attach the rubber best to a retro milbro? I have the black square rubber.

fold the ends over push it threw and put some brass pins in so the elastic does not come back threw

Here's some details with images from another forum buddy hope it helps

 

what you will need

 

 

hoop your string

 

 

pull the string from the front of the catty,

 

 

thread the laccy through the hoop like this

 

 

pull the string i find spitting on in the hole helps, i thought id leave that picture out so no ones sick

 

until it looks like this

 

i find this helps to put the pins in

here the pins

spit on the laccy and push the pins in#

 

 

now pull the laccy tight

 

 

here the finished article

you can use deer antler tips cut in half mate thats what i used for years

I use 4mm alloy pins or 4mm brass they sell it in b&q

 

Or can get smaller lengths off eBay buddy
