shavings on the base of the floor, then a bale of good clean dry straw, in each kennel, clean em out once a week.

I used to use carpet ,but a lurcher pup i had start eating it and it wrapped up in his gut then he died under the anesthetic in the vet's ,but now i get duvet and blankets every week from a friend of mine the works in a clothes recycling place

cocker do you leave it as a bale .And how long dose the bale last

i have tried straw ,paper, vet bed but they just drag it out, they on raised wooden platforms in kennel (about 6 inch ) and currently have carpet tiles which i stapled down, and a folded old rug which is to hard for them to drag out.
