Dazzam 239
I recently sold my Mk1 and bought the new MK3M. Both of them do a great job but i love the MK3M. Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
You'd have to be a complete and uttter dimwit not to be able to use the MK3, its only one more switch than the MK1 Quote Link to post
Country Joe 1,411
It would be a far better piece of kit, if it made the same noise as the Mark 1 as someone said its sounds like Hawkwind, They are far over priced as well, and so are the collars. It has been said lots of times on here, I wish someone else had been in competion with Deben. Wait till the new mark4 comes out, probally be round the £200. Quote Link to post
archiekale 427
hi lads i have had mk1 for years good bit of kit but mk3 are the dogs nutts you can search the area without walking about and have a good idea to were the ferret is once the ferret settles its very easy to use people say they are about 6" out but the receveir when on its upright position is 6" tall so knock the height of the receiver off then its bang on as for been flimsy its a solid peice of kit no dust or sand can enter the receiver all sealed even the switches are magnetic rollers so sand and dirt can not enter .i would not ever go back to the old stuff how many times did we strip the mk1 down just to clean inside messing about swaping batterys cleaning the cap wrapping insulation tape round the collars dials comeing loose aaah the good old days mk3 seconds to set up second to shut down thats progress Quote Link to post
