Made these 3 catapults up last week.........

Recommended Posts

Made these 3 last week and they all shoot great, the one with rabbit pic on has been temporary banded and tried but before varnishing so took them off to varnish it will try to get it banded up 2moro, they are all made from old furniture drawer fronts 19mm - 13 layer ply / multiplex as some call it......

They are all just 120mm high and I just drew out some designs made paper templates drew round them onto the wood and jigsawed them out and finished off with various grades of sandpaper and did band grooves with round file, they all turned out pretty well I am well pleased they all shoot straight as a die and very consistantly.

Thanks for looking, Deano

No sorry not for sale just a few I knocked up for my own collection they are asda fitness exercise bands you get 3 in a box for £6 yellow = weak Red= medium and blue= strong they are a type of thera band only easier to pull but a youtube vid shows even the red putting out 320 fps so pretty hunting worthy, and they come with that lovely chocolate cookie smell theraband gold has too

Just made up this 2 days ago too based on a slim milbro type cattie its very thick and 25mm but it started off as an old chair arm, the wood is heavy very tightly grained and these pics dont do it justice as in daylight its beautiful ............
