dymented 2,220
I think that you can safely use Dettol surface spray as long as you wipe the surface dry after use Quote Link to post
BazB 37
i read in a ferret book, theres a chemical in certain cleaners that burns the ferrets skin.it says if it turns the water milky dont use it.but like dymented says it should be fine as long as its dry before the ferrets do in hope this helps Barry Quote Link to post
Attack Fell Terrier 864
I use diluted Detol on my dogs when they've got open wounds that have a bit of muck in them. It stings like f**k but is good stuff for cleanig out wounds. So with that in mind I can't see how it's going to harm the Ferretts having their Hutch washed down in it. KenKeeping 13
I have used Dettol spray, on the hutches and anywhere the Ferrets and dogs go, since Ive had them. Its great stuff. No! It dont make water go foggy! I use the one in the green trigger spray bottle. Always dry it off with a kitchen roll swab after use though to get rid of excess! Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Usually anything that turns water cloudy contains phenol , it is known to be toxic if ingested Quote Link to post
