Dose dependent poisons, ie a little causes minor symptoms higher doses more symptoms, such as onion/garlic are best avoided, garlic doesn’t effect worms, if it did all of France would be worm free lol. The chemicals can destroy red blood cells and even a small drop is better avoided in working dogs. Minor anaemia is not symptomatic but may reduce stamina etc.

sounds like the vet just knew plummers were shit and didnt want the guy breeding another useless litter maybe

well i just dont use the foods that have been listed to be avoided.   will your dog really suffer if it wasn't fed, grapes, chocolate, onion and garlic?   just because they dont show signs of pro

Yes, grapes are poisonous to dogs and obviously raisins are too.   It takes surprisingly few to do it as well, a small packet of raisins can kill a large dog.   Best wishes to your mate and his do

I've just read through three pages of the harm giving grapes as treats to you dog could cause, BUT... why the feck would you wanna do that anyway!!

I can think of a million treats my dogs could have and grapes would be amongst the last of 'em!!

Don't get me wrong, if i was happily eating a punnet and my dog was giving me the 'wanna share' eyes, then maybe i'd flick 'one' over for a laugh and i'd bet they'd eat it with a half arsed attitude of 'what the feck is that' and i'd piss myself laughing... But thats about all...

Feck me, wise up and give a logical treat, one that gives a dogs sommat that is a bit more 'natural' and helpful to their diet...!
