Early morning stalk

I was out for first light this mornong stalking the wood edges where ive seen alot of roe lately.I seen six roe in two fields and this buck took my fancy.I shot him at about 200yds through the neck

And here is another pic of my lad out with his air rifle and the quad shooting some nuisence rabbits and hares on a farm where i got a phone call to get rid of them

Yeah lost a total of seven stone and back in the gym five days a week,was a right fat twat

its a HW77 in .177 calibre and was tuned when i bought it about three years ago and still shoots really well,my lad shoots alot of gear with it

Those hw77's go on for ever I have an hw77k in .22. Great shooting both yourself and your lad

My lad is 14yrs old and has shot 1000s of rabbits and is a very good shot but the old saying is practice makes perfect and hes had lots of practice.The hw77 are heavy but they are super accurate and very reliable.Yeah its a nice buck but there was two others with heads as good if not better then the one in the picture in the same couple of fields

A real 'Family Affair' great to see the young'uns so involved,definitely keeps them out of trouble.

Oh,and wish I could lose some weight and keep it off!

thats what i would have expected you to do you know your set up and can shoot out to great distances 300 +yrds with the knowledge of a kill a nice buck and you look in fine fettlle ill talk soon all the best

woodga don,t you believe it thats a roadkill that buck , he,s lost that much weight trying to get one , gw.
