Feed her first, and then just sit down with her and let her be around you and give her a stroke, scratch etc. She will soon come round. Give her an egg mixed up in a bowl and then give her s stroke when she is feeding etc. Dont flick / tap her etc, that does no good.

ive heard that violance does nothing, just patience lol, i want to stroke her while shes eating but she take the food out of her bowl and into her bed to eat, is that normal?? or a mental issue due to the last owner?? and thanks tomono1, i'll try that

From what Ive nticed, most ferrets take their food somewhere quiet out of the way to eat it!

Ive got a last years jill, she bites now and again, but its how they play togeter I spos, and its just the fact that our pain threshold is not as good as theirs, that we take offence to it!

I read on here somewhere not to go in like a bull in a china shop, but gently with the hand so she knows whats coming.

This jill I have has come a long way now Ime taking more time with her.

My hob is another thing all together!

He is massive and as soft as a baby.

You can do anything, and I mean anything to him, and not a bad bone in his body, so the vet loves him, lol.

The jil is looking for a home somewhere tidy, but we live in Bridgend south wales, so a bit far from most of you I spos?

The hob stays where he is, part of the family big time, lol.
