what's your fav colour of purse nets ?

well a bit board and i am wandering whats your fav colour of purse nets cause i am going to order 2 balls of draw cord and 2 balls of twine i have red, pink , white, and hemp. but dont no what colour to get now ?

I use red nets but as its the only colour iv'e not sold any nets ive made from i cant get another guys nets mixed up with mine

yeah the nets i have made so far aren't that good made cause i haven't made much for a while so i am going to start a new colour but none of the ones i have so far and i have made a few sliders so i will know what nets are mine cause none of the people i go out ferreting with have sliders

all mine used to be dyed green hemp. but i like the coloured nets my eyes are not as good as they used to be. so i have 3ft6 in yellow and 4ft in orange.

all im going to say is colour is down to personal preference - old timers still like traditional colours like reds and greens but the modern brighter colours luminous orange pink and dayglow yellow do seem to work better.as the rabbit only sees in monochrome ( black and white) the brighter and lighter the net the less chance there is of the rabbit seeing it and rearing up as it comes up the burrow. think that red, terracotta and dark green will look black over the hole whereas the light yellows etc will show as a very light grey. i was old school and only used dark colours but i did try the modern lighter colours and can honestly say that there is a difference and most of my net bag is very light colours.plus the added bonus is that the nice light nets are easily retrievable from the field
