Great idea, join a facebook page that says Hey I like to Hunt, will be able to trace you back to your facebook page and get you lots of lovely attention from Antis, goes right up there with the chocolate teapot and ice bleeding fireguard!

At least photos posted here go under a username!

Sod them. The more of us that act like we should be ashamed of hunting and country sports means they win, and we allow ourselves to be even more marginalised than we already are.

Stand up and be proud of what we do!

Cheers, wurz

There is a point of standing up and being proud of what we do, but when you have been tracked down by a mob of antis who start hounding you, your family and harassing you at work, then the world is a different colour. These people are very well organised, often use tactics that are illegal and can be as nasty as the anti vivisectionist lot! Point of standing up and being counted or your head above the parapet with a 14 foot high shoot me sign in neon! Facebook not a good idea unless you use a false id, they can track you through it, hello, anybody spot a problem here?

As a group we are diverse, spread out, there are very few members who are next door neighbours, this lot gang up and present themselves at inopportune moments and can be very nasty. They are a damned site more organised and nastier than we are. Why give them a hand?

Anyone who posts on a forum wether under a sudanim or not can be tracked down by anyone with the right determination and know how. FB may not be exactly the best example but for those who know, it's only a little more dangerous than here.

Good luck with the page, lads :victory:

I think you may be taking paranoia to a whole new level here, when you consider that, as responsible airgunners, all we're doing is knocking over a few vermin species as humanely as possible.it's not like we're badger baiting or forcing beagles to chain smoke is it?! Even so, if you allow them to force you to keep you head down then they've won, simple as that.

I refuse to capitulate to them, as john darling said-

' sex and hunting are mans oldest instincts-when they ban the former, I'll think about stopping the latter'

I'm damned if I'll give in to bullying, particularly when it involves my passion.

That said, if you don't want to join a facebook page, then don't. Simples!

Cheers, wurz

i dont see anything wrong with it, iv posted squirrels pigeons shot etc and my gun on my page, and if someone doesnt like, get the f**k off my page, its not against the law, and if antis wanted to be nasty at my doorstep, i would be riled and want to go like rambo, but then again id think twice and play them at there own game, and try and make an example of them best i could by humiliating the antis, as theyre all seen to have the sun shine out of theyre arse...and in all fairness, around my kneck of the woods, theres more hunters etc than anti's so they wouldnt dream of doing such a thing as "get nasty" at anyones home lol
