thanks all just sppke to the self righteous bitch at animal lifeline in stoke on trent for five minutes, she told me that it was my fault that the dog had been pinched as she was in a kenne and i obviously didnt love her! after this rant she told me it wwas a dog so couldnt possiby be mine!

after which way she went on with you i would still do a bit more digging as they proberly don,t want them 2 be rehomed with the rightess owners ,i had a right fart on getting my dog only after 2 days of being missing

She couild be lying! to stop you trying to get your dog back, as they are big time antis!

I would go down their and demand to look at that dog. :thumbs:

It wouldn't be unknown for the so called 'animal rescue' people to lie through their teeth to stop a working dog being returned to its rightful owner. Years ago, I knew someone who had 3 lurchers stolen, one was an 11 year old retired bitch. The dog warden was informed of its whereabouts, but never logged it or reported it as she thought it would be better off with the family that found it! It took an unbelievable stroke of luck and some heavy threats before this dog warden admitted knowing where the dog was. Bloody righteous horrible people some of them are.
