I am more than keen and i am approaching at reasonably acceptable times of day and not on weekends. regards Gaz Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701 Posted January 13, 2012 Report Share Posted January 13, 2012 Hit the local golf course, paddocks, large hotels, sometimes even light railway companies (the ones who run steam and restored diesel locos on their own line, rabbits are right baskets on embankments), posh houses (you know country piles), blitz them all, explain your benefit ie you will not shoot everything that moves and a few things that do not, if you are fully retired emphasise that, means you are available a lot more! I have done this basically good advice mate, I am in the process of getting some business cards printed pennies on line. Thinking leaving them in Equestrian shops, gun shops.. dropping them at rugby clubs and so forth. # regards Gareth Quote Link to post

tonyponty 6 Posted January 13, 2012 Report Share Posted January 13, 2012 its not as easy as some people make out gaz unless your in a good area. i have sent over 50 letters out in last couple of month also visited over 40 farms ect this week alone they rather have mostly syndicates or there own farm hands shoot on there land or already have someone and quite a few was just plain no no dont want anyone roaming about on my land not had any reply` s from letters as yet got another 40 or so ready to send out when i find some more farms thought they would be a few in yellow pages but there aint will be trying further a field also getting used to the no no1s now so yeh its not easy at all ..
