SneakyD 5
If they fit in the cabinet then they are securely stored, which meets the conditions of you cert. Quote Link to post
TWOTWOTHREE 152
Hi I would ask ur feo as I had 5 in a 4 gun cabinet, Two fac and three shotguns,I put in for a one for one variation recently and the feo rang me and said he had noticed I more on the licences than the cabinet was stated to hold.It was ok as I had upgraded to a 8 gun safe last year, that cheered him up a bit and job done Atb 223 Quote Link to post

nasher1 258
I would have thought as long as they go in and you can lock the door its ok, but if my memory serves me right my feo counted the guns and made a note of the cabinet capacities, so I would say in my neck of the woods 7 gun cabinet means 7 atb nasher Quote Link to post
jackinbox99 41
Each FAO is different. My first one never once looked at the cabinet so he had no idea how many guns it could hold. My fathers FAO always used to inspect his cabinet and said "that can hold 5" and marked it down as able to hold 5. My 2nd FAO actually had a look at my cabinet and when I commented that it was a 7 gun cabinet, he promptly said "you could probably get 10 in there if you took them apart". So, dunno ive no idea how many guns he has marked it down to hold. Quote Link to post
stokefan 7
On the BASC website it says that by law you can fit in as many guns as you can as long as you can shut it and lock it properley Quote Link to post
shootlodge 146
If there safe & secure , YES . Personally i would splash out & buy a 5/6 , deep case top locker, it saves damage to your guns , & makes more room............for more Quote Link to post
airbourne 128
i have a 4 gun cabinet, i keep 3 shot guns and 2 rifles in it never had a problem. Quote Link to post
quicksilver 0
The practicalities of storing more guns than space means you are more than likely going to knock the scope of rifles getting them in and out. Quote Link to post
