Irish Lurcher 1,013
They have to be admired for their cunning ways and their ability to survive in any type of environment. I drive for a living and see them nightly in the city centre, they walk among the party goers and have seen them eat food from the hand. So their adaptability is to be admired, they are a splendid creature to observe in the wild. Edited January 13, 2012 by Irish Lurcher 5 Quote Link to post

Bloody things are a pain in the ass...... is she a full grey nice bitch No mate, deerhound/greyhound X Collie/whippet... nice road kills. The last picture is road kill, read the thread that was put up Christmas Day where i said my dogs had another fox when out with me and Steve, i didn't have my camera with me so i went back another day and took a picture of the one they caught, (a small vixen) strange how this as been bought up now after Mark b and his friends have been taking a new pup out and it's killed a fox,... not everyone on web sites tells lies...........especially me.......... ban or no band, have you ever tried to call 4 dogs of a DAY TIME FOX, pretty f*****g impossible,... the point i was trying to get across was!!!! you don't have to go out NIGHT TIME to see fox's down here, it's bad enough for me trying to AVOID them in the day time... so if you can't except that then DON'T BOTHER REPLYING TO WHAT I PUT UP.... go and join the little gang on another site if you want to have ago I'm sure they will welcome you into their little gang of idiots,... and let me get on with what i enjoy the most...............being out with my dogs.... Squirrel_Basher 17,100
My only advice on studying foxes would be get out and study .The only thing you will get on here is bad eyes and a headache .Take the lad out lamping ,digging and with hounds.Theres no quick fix on here that will make up for time spent mate . Dunkanon 380
There is a old book called Running with the Fox by David McDonald, hes not a hunter by the way but he carried out a 15 yr study into fox and their behavious and habits, a very good book in my opinion. should be able to get a copy on amazon. It will tell your boy a lot about foxes for sure. Quote Link to post
