Is there any ? Could moderators whom feel the need to remove whole threads and single posts alike , pm or make a sticky post in general chat why they have felt the need to remove a thread, and please include the deleted thread title. It's not much to ask, let's start with case in hand, the "raids" thread in the terrier section. Some interesting points posted and poof it's gone.

Actually it is, multiple threads are deleted every day along with several dozen posts, some due to their adult or idiotic theme. Its not practical to to start a thread in general section or pm a member everytime this happens, its simply unfeasable, especially with 32,000+ members, and before you suggest more moderators, to peform a personal feedback service would require a huge team of full time moderators, again this isn't possible, we alaso have jobs/families and even a life(hard to believe i know). Plus sometimes the threads started are so ridiculous it shouldn't require, or doesn't deserve an explanation.........

I did state a sticky thread, not a single thread every time. If you cant handle the fire , leave the mod badge at the desk on the way out ! ;o)

So if we don't like your suggestion we should all leave?

P.S You like that phrase don't you........ :D

If you cant handle the moderation on THL leave your THL membership badge at the desk on the way out you can leave when ever you like it free to join along with its free to leave.

At the end of the day I had a spate with a couple of members only last week I asked MALT if he could remove my profile in a stamp my feet five year manner because of a comment he made about some of my posts.

He sent me a very polite reply explaining his views on my comments and was very very fair and his reply made me take notice of myself and how I replied to some THL posts.

Fair play I think its a very balanced site in the moderation terms .

Nothing to do with me....but personally i think for an internet site where anybody can sling shit at each other and get away with it 90 % of folk on here are quite respectful......i clocked a post yesterday by the fella your talking about,Malt.... apologising to someone he thought he had wronged...to me that shows a classy guy.

I dont know any of these moderators but most of them come across as good guys and in all fairness who cares if they,re not you dont need to be friends with them.... just common decency and manners cost nothing.

Speaking for myself, as i wouldnt dream of speaking for anyone else. My reason for the OP was to simply ask why a complete thread was removed, and if moderators at least could give reasons as to why (very simple). To which stabs kindly posted that the origonal thread starter had asked for it to be. The topic in hand got a little bit tongue in cheek, and out of hand a little, but no need to rally the troops around the moderation team with cotton wool !
