zini 1,939
Hi lads and lasses, This is a clip of me shooting some wood pigeons on a farm permission for the farmer in the day time looking through the view finder of the new Sony Handycam and shooting unsupported from the standing and sitting positions and then me shooting some rabbits on another permission off the bipod on a windy night with the new Sony Handycam and my IR300 laser illuminator. The illuminator is only set just over flood and look at the quality of the picture of the rabbit shots. Its a shame that the rabbits were either killed out of camera shot (found dead at the hole entrance) or lying dead in the long grass around the pond, but filming is not always as easy as you may think and sometimes we have to be happy with what we manage to film. Enjoy Si. 1 Quote Link to post

Im not willing to say at this time if the IR300 will work with or better than the Pulsar and its illuminator as Ive not tried and tested it and that would be wrong of me. We are testing it against a Pulsar and with a Pulsar tomorrow night when DogVixon comes ratting with us and brings his Pulsar. Ill post the results sometime next week. Si. hi Si you wont need to edit it,its that good its nice and clear with the IR300 but when I use the N1000AP it seems to be fussy and water marked (like water ripples) "distorted" but when I put the IR300 on I could clearly make out the hairs on a rat! its big main, nice big rats we shot last night all over 18 inches from nose to tail! zini 1,939
Lovely jublee buddy, 18 inches is one hell of a rodent. I look forward to seeing it pal. Sorry mate i didnt mean it how it came across to you buddy. I meant to edit it into a long clip so each shot you take flows into the next shot naturally like i do with my clips too . See you tomorrow afteroon buddy . Si. . Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
 hi Si just got back from the dairy farm again! got some more footage with the scopecam & IR300 from nite-hunter.com I opened it up a bit more this evening and at 45yds it was really clear then rommels and I had a laser off! IR300 V's N1000AP and guess which ir won? yes the IR300 from nite-hunter.com,rommels even agreed that it was much better too! so that's the seconded person myself included saying its much better than the N1000AP so a big thumbs up for the IR300 Davy Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Nice one and great results for the win for the Ir300. So will rommels be selling his 1000 and buying a 300? Si. Quote Link to post
