You don't have a clue what your talking about. Who's fighting for what's theirs? Not the Taliban. You should read up on the subject before shouting off. The geneva convention is set out to keep suffering to a minimum, yes I agree that it's all brutal but rules dictate that the Brits can't do anything that will increase suffering. For example using HE bombs with White phosphorous, who doesn't get killed gets burnt alive etc. How can you defend them? I'm trying my best not to argue like I said but Britain sticks to the geneva convention and the soldiers are just doing their job. Take a look at where your loyalties lie. The western military make painstaking to get it right even if the outcome isn't perfect. Again I've never been there and I'm glad as well but having read countless books on the subject it amazes me how restrained our military are. We're talking young lads half my age showing retraint that would be admerable from a 50 year old. Oh and they're put in danger's way when a more indestriminant bombing or drone attack would do the job because our military want to draw out the fighters in order to take out only the guilty. I'll bet half the time our inteligence know where some of these targets are but don't level the whole village like the Russians would have done or even the Allies during the 2nd world war. "My" coutry..........ive go less rights in my country than all the foreigners, in this day and age why should i be loyal to my country.....whats it giving me.
