tegater 789
Here is one I took in 1980 as a teenager on an old kodak instamatic. It is of one of my favorite places in the UK, The Summer Isles, of the north west coast of Scotland. The picture is very poor quality, as the transparancy has deteriated, and the camera was one of the cheapest of the time, but the memories of the fantastic sunsets you get up there are strong. In old Dornie harbour, at the bottem of the picture, at low tide it was full of thousands of sea urchins, and Isle Ristol in the mid picture had a cracking white sandy beach, that was great for landing the boat and having a picnic, in between catching mackeral, trolling a spinner or two!

Are there any crocs in there? Great cloud formations and colours in the second.
Tsayad 88
Awesome pic, the top one. Are there any crocs in there? Great cloud formations and colours in the second. The pool at Mungerannie is an artificial one , the result of the overflow from an artesian bore. Given that they have to walk across something like 700km of desert to get there, I suspect that there aren't a lot of crocs in it. If there are, the owners of the hotel are keeping pretty quiet about it. http://www.mungeranniehotel.com.au/mungerwhereinsthaustralia.htm Father-bear used to love sitting out and watching the thunderstorms boil up from the west. I have good memories of keeping him company. The amount of dust and smoke in the atmosphere often gives us very colourful sunsets in summer.
