Themaverick 110
Will there be a wheaten class Fiona i still have to speck with the other organizers on sunday, but i was thinking on a class for any breed not specified...the would be for bedlingtons, wheatons ,glenns ect, it depend on how many trophies and rossettes theyre allowing me for....im thinking quality not quantity ,last year they spent a fortune on trophies and the rossettes are top class, but il she what she says... I'd send you a collar and lead over as a prize for a Wheaten class, on the condition that any profit from the entries went to charity and not into Ed Reids pocket ed reid will not be attending this one...he has nothing to do with the club...he only was in attendance last year to judge... so if your that keen il take you up on ur offer and you can sponser the wheatons...thank you!! Themaverick 110
i was up talking to the organizers yesterday and its full steam ahead!! the trophies and rosettes promise to be the best you've seen.... Lilly the club founder was asking me if i was going to run a league for the lurcher and whippet events, that would mean a qualifier at each show that has applied and run a "irish whippet derby" and "irish lurcher derby" for the under 23's and one for the over 23's were we would be putting up prize money a perpetual cup and a presentation jacket ? this would be run at the final show of the year held in sept. there would also be a league for the long jump and hurdles if i could encourage other show organizers to run these events. if this is of interest to you, let me no what you think...cheers fiona also im still looking volunteers for my ring stewarts and race helpers!!! send me a pm if interested!! the job comes with free burger and pint! Yer talking shite pal full stop This was over in Ireland and not at the ACES field in the UK, just so people dont get confused as we do put the ACES days on here and Pitbulls are illegal in the UK, the IPBTA no longer run under the ACES name since late last year, the IPBTA now run in association with the IKC since meeting them late last year. Ok I'll hold me hands up I thought you were on about the main uk ACES days, I've never been to a Irish aces run day but the ones I attend here couldn't be further from your description and very well run IMHO

Its true it did happen when weight pull was goin on out the front but that was in no way a reflection of the organisers (the IPBTA) each indevidual is responsible at any event for their own dogs, it seems to me you have come here for the single reason of slating their days and thats just being a bad sport, hiding behind the anominity of the PC screen. Im sure it wont be the last time they have to deal with haters 7 years later ACES still has the same problem!
