Oildriller 2
If I was you I would do the plumbing course as from there on you can get into pipe fitting pipe welding with a chance of a job overseas, forget the game keeping as its a thing of the past with no money in it....think real hard about it. FightTheBan 1,147
I dont know what to suggest big man, ive seen so many lads chuck keepering in the last few years, but thats not to say you will. You say there are not many jobs in keepering, well I tell you there isnt many jobs full stop, trade or not unless you are willing to work away for a while. Have a real good think about what you want to do. FTB

darbo 4,774
have a good think about it. ive been a electrician for 31 years and the job situation at the moment isnt good also the rate of pay isnt what it was. as said if your prepared to work away and chase jobs that would be your decision.good luck anyhow. fazza123 516
To be a plumber now you have to do a year as an apprentice ? Sounds easy but not many folk want the hassle with college turning up on jobs for a chat, rooting through there books etc ! Plus most just dont have enough work to take anyone on! Bad times!!!! littlefish 585
Learn a trade while you have a chance...........you can always enjoy your fieldsports as a hobby/sideline. When the trades pick up again you would then be in a stronger position to earn a decent living. Good luck.
