FightTheBan 1,147
I would love to say spade her, but that would be childish. As you have a kid, you need to be diplomatic. I would sit her down and talk her through why you do it, why it is sport, the quarry has a fair chance, is humanely dispatched in seconds, keeps a healthy population (weak are caught and the strongest live on to breed). Present her with a well put together running dog book (hare and the swift hound) if that doesnt bring a tear to her eye shes a heartless c**t. Explain that it is a sustainable way of controlling vermin and also providing healthy free food. If she disagrees with that ask her why she is not vegan, and make her eat cardboard for a month. If all else fails and she is set in her ways, go about your normal business and tell her f**k ALL...the less she knows the better. I had the same problem with my bird recently, but I pulled on her heartstrings so much that she wanted to come out at every opportunity to see how its done...which was worse. In the end I decided to call it quits and split up with her as I could not be f****d with the hassle. ATB FTB Quote Link to post

The Duncan 802
as a keeper my self there is a lot of controversy with this and cum under fire from gen public and antis on a regular basis the fact of the matter is yes foxes are nice animals too look at like a lot of things that we hunt and shoot like deer foxes ,wildfoul pheasants they all are good looking animals they just need controlling yes people are entitled to there own opinion but a lot of people aren't educated in this subject so have no idea why we do what we do and just see us as scum of the earth more should be done to educate people so they know why timothy tredwell thought that grizzily bears were the most beautiful animals in the world so moved into th wilderness to live in harmony with them and said they were hi friends, i wonder what his opinion was when the bear ate him alive?? to be fair tho' he was an authentic whacko. Cold Ethyl 63
Couldnt cope with that lol it would worry me if im honest. My dad never agreed with what i did but didnt give me grief for it and now he has his own terrier he understands it a whole lot more plus he knows it makes me happy and how well kept the dogs are so hes seen another side to it.Maybe if you google some of the horror stories about foxes killing kids and attacking people she might change her mind a bit Quote Link to post
