Irish Lurcher 1,013
I must say that I am always applauded by this type of thread, it is quite apparent that there is a market out there for stolen dogs; I blame the b*****ds who receive these poor animals more so, but I would show no mercy to the b*****d who was begging me to remove the vice grips from his finger nails having caught him in the act or there after. Really hope you get a good result on this one. Quote Link to post

ru_and_dill 0
Hateful thing to happen to anyone. Best of luck in the hunt to find her - try http://www.sighthoundsonline.org.uk/forums/ as well - they have a forum for lost & found hounds, and they're another part of the same extended running dog family. We may not share all their opinions, but we can all agree on this one. Good luck, and if anyone can help, let us know - this is SO much more important than "I had a really big bag of rabbits last night" type posts, fun as they are. R&D Quote Link to post
Chaz 6
Good luck in getting her back mate and if you find the b*****ds that did it make sure they remember not to do it again :aikido: Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
Terribly cruel business this dog thieving... Been to a couple of country shows recently and there has been some right battles where guys have tried to literally walk off with someones jukel,...its fecking amazing the nerve that certain folk have Is there THAT much money to be earned by choring a dog that has just ran in a racing event ,.at a lurcher show,...surely not ?...I've never had a dog stolen. I've lost plenty 'in the field'...and it must be a rotten feeling,.'never knowing',.etc,...In fact,.I've always said, I would rather carry a dead dog home from a night out on the lamp than to have it stolen.. Mercifully,.I've never owned a good enough lurcher that anyone would fancy stealing.. And with that in mind,...I personally feel that all the superb images and photos of our dogs that are on the Internet and in the various sporting magazines and suchlike ,.really does make the 'keeping' and selling of a well known 'face' by any dog thief a far more difficult proposition.. Nothing much will ever stop a determined nutter from trying to take what he desires, but unless the robber has a grudge against you and chooses to take a dog to kill it,.it will not be so easy to parade the fecker around if it is easily recognised by other lurcher enthusiasts...So,.get clicking .... All the best to ALL crosses,...CHALKWARREN.... Edited April 16, 2007 by CHALKWARREN Quote Link to post
mole catcher 1
Hope it all turns out well for you and the dog Chris. sadly dog theft is on the up, thats why i dont mind my dog being anti-social with strangrs. It would be a brave bloke who tried to lead up my dog, it would take his fecking arm off. Quote Link to post
