19powell90 89
So after setting up the illuminator i head to one of my permissions A quick zero of the laser to my scope and off i went. First off can i just say that is laser is amazingly powerful, i was looking at rabbits clealy out to 100m with a sony handycam. I had a walk round the farm where i spotted mulitple rabbits but they manage to escape me as i was being to cocky thinking i was invisible haha. I set off intending to get one rabbit only, just to test out the performance of the laser ( which is far better than my previous n100ap ) i headed towards a part of my permission that is a very small patch of land and is covered by hedgerows all the way round apart from a gate so creeped towards the gate and quickly swung my gun over the gate and scanned for rabbits. One imediately was in my crosshairs so i took the shot and rolled over at around 20m. So i grabbed him and headed back Atb Scott Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Nice shooting Scott and another happy customer I see from people buying from the Nite - Hunter company. Glad that mine and Davys reviews have gained so many new purchases and customers for Anthoni and Pete at Nite - Hunter.com. They are so happy with us that we have actually been made part of the company (now full members) and we have the job of testing out all their new equipment and there is alot of new stuff coming out within the near future that is awesome. We probably have 3 or 4 items to test already with new things being designed. One of the bits of kit that we are testing soon is so good that a famous gun maker in the Uk are actually looking at investing £150,000 into the design thereselves. They phone us daily and Anthoni informs us that he cant keep up with the orders as they come in so fast. Regarding the laser, yes its very powerful and bright as you now see and way better than the N1000. On this Fri coming when shooting rats me and Davy are going to show a comparison between a N1000 and a IR300. The plan is for Davy to illuminate at around 40 metres with his N1000 and film through my camera then for me to turn on my IR300 only on half power or lower and put it over the N1000 beam which should be interesting. Now that you have seen the laser on half power and flood can you imagine how bright it will be on flood shooting rats at a max of say 15 to 20 metres? DAY LIGHT in pitch darkness. Ill pass on your comments to the rest of the Nite - Hunter team. Regards Si. Edited January 11, 2012 by zini Quote Link to post
