Update on my Tilly, now 8 months and first trip to the beach.

Well my pup is now 8 months and thought id drive the 2 hours to the beach for a change of scenery. She loved it as all dogs do obviously.

Really pleased with her progress so far and she now seems to be getting to a point where shes taking in the trainings well so im starting to do more with her.

 

 

 

 

 

(I was enjoying myself, im just not really one for smiling in photos ;-) )

Shes quite big for a cocker, maybe the same size as a small springer i suppose. But my lab is small so it makes her look bigger than she actually is i think.

Coming on a treat mate. Been working her through the cover crops and up the hedges now shootings over. Had her retrieving hen pheasants, partridge and pigeons to my hand. Ones iv thrown out into the covers for her to retrieve i mean. Iv also hidden dead birds in the hedges then i hunt her up to them so shes not just looking for a live bird but sweeping for the dead ones aswell.

 

Theyll be plenty of pictures next season!
