Rommels 7
I was somewhat in the same boat some time back when looking at the mk2 having seen and researched heavily the mk1. I must say however the mk2 is a cracking gun... picked mine up what must be a couple of months ago now for £625 (new) and the accuracy is cracking as is the finish. Out of the box it was achieving pellet on pellet and I'm sure Davy would back me up having used mine a few times... Certainly worth every penny in my view Quote Link to post

Pink or stink 162
I chose a new R-10 three weeks ago so here's my slant on it. Basic engineering flaws exist such as swarfed edges on the barrel shroud. The trigger reach adjustment is poor as if you set it back a bit it interferes with the trigger guard.. wont shoot. The accuracy of this thing is outstanding, really outstanding. It appears hit & miss if you get a decent barrell but talking to a few guys on the ranges over the weeks many appear to be pellet fussy. Apart from Bis Mags dropping low (weight) this thing puts them all where you want them. Just basic QC missing imo. Quote Link to post
dingle27 1
soo are you glad you got this gun or not Quote Link to post
Pink or stink 162
Very happy with the gun overall but with a few checks at BSA's end it could have been perfect. Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Hi mate, Watch this clip i did in the Summer with 2 pals when filming a shooting and hunting DVD. One of my pals was using a out the box BSA r10 mk 2. This r10 is a sub 12 r10 running at about 11.5 to 11.7 if i remember correctly. Outstanding rifle overall and the clip says it all. For the bit you are interested in skip to 9 minutes 14 seconds or alternatively watch the whole clip to see a array of rifles and marksmanship. marcusp 0
Is a normal bsa ultra that accurate? Quote Link to post
ArchieHood 3,692
You could always look for a cheap MK1 and get it tuned by XTX-AIR. Quote Link to post
