dennned 172
Carlisle paper today carried an article where anti hunt campaigners want the police to investigate a post on hunting life, this was posted 2 years ago and refers to the Blencathra Hunt and proposed illegal hunting, so beware what you write, you are being watched by people who are in our midst. nothing new there then Some people still won't learn tho!! Ain't that the truth, just have to watch what you post and try to keep other stuff to private messages no way , any computer buff will still be able to reach anything written online so beware all

lightning123 6
i very doubt any force has the resources or time to investigate a hunting site about rabbits because of the odd pre ban deer picture etc, pictures are just that pictures they can be tampered with and you have to put a time and place to the picture and thats inpossible in a court, today the police or letting muggers rapists thiefs and gbh of with cautions because of resources but if they want to look at people breaking the law in the hunting fraternity surely they should look at organised hunting on horse, but then they still wouldnt or couldnt prosecute them,

But im sure that with all the anti's around that DO spend there time, trolling through sites like this as a supposed member, picking up all the information they can to get just the slightest whiff of anything wrong and passing it on. ya see the internet is a brilliant tool to have. But if you participate in illegal activities in one form or another then blatantly advertise the fact on the net ....then your asking for your collar to be felt. You only got to use a bit of cop on. Computers are deadly for storing info and you pictures and anything that youve put on your p.c CAN be brought back to life by computer forensics. It doesnt take a genious to work out that if you spout and shout about thngs then your gonna get a visit.................and i bet anyone has stuff on there p.c or in there home who does this type of thing to incriminate themselves.
trappa 518
I think this will be taken as a wake up call for THL members. Keep to the right side of the law and you will be fine. If your daft enough to be on the wrong side, keep it to yourself!
1Wally 204
Has anyone ever been prosecuted because of a photo even with a write up and a date??? I doubt it, but your ruining your own hunting by becoming a target.

But if someone has been noted to have done this and someone decides to dig deeper on the matter then all small bits of info accumalated can soon mount up and then the person can be investigated further and possibly ending up with search warrant and search for evidence. So no your right but why put yourself in that sort of situation in the first place. Half the crimes are solved by people who talk too much and go about bragging about this and that, not just hunting ...all crimes. If people just shut up about there activities then they wouldnt be getting caught. You tell joebloggs you went after badgers in confidence....it was a good story ya told him ...he meets fred perry and tells him.......fred perry tells armani .....and so on and so on ....get my point ......some people are there own worst enemies.
