northern lad 2,292 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Share Posted January 10, 2012 scooby is a great read but ive got to say ,the antis must love him .i also think he shows the sport in a very bad light chinkys,muntys etc just does not sit well ,i respect what the guys done ie walked the walk etc unfortunatly books like this will make sure its never legal to do so again.people can and will do as they please putting"pre ban"before everything ,but these books will antagonise many fence sitters enough to make them antis.still hes had his fun and been handsomly renumerated no doubt.in terms of a lasting legacy i think hes done far more for the antis than us.i hope this doesnt come across as a personal attack,as stated i enjoyed the book,but i dont think it should have been published,presumably this new ones the same Quote Link to post Share on other sites

They believe they are a force for good when really they are using exact same technology that will ultimately kill off this planet, all the resources to create new phones, computers etc are polluting and killing the Earth. They care about individual animals not about habitats and populations. They will highlight 'cruelty' to authorities but half of them know little about the animals they are trying to save. They have no clue that large populations of deer has an affect on other species, they only care about the animals they can hug. They say bring back the wolf to control deer but they don't understand the effects it has on people lives and livelihoods. They live in a bubble thinking that we are encroaching on animals habitats, we all belong to the earth. They talk about being civilised, killing and eating your own quarry is civilised rather than being ignorant to where it came from. Most will bang on about ethics and morals, it is my ethic to give the quarry a chance to escape with a dog behind it rather than shoot it and wait for it to die. Which will, without doubt be devoured by the general public as fact irregardless of truth. the book is a fantastic book, and i for one would recommend that all members of the field sports fraternity read it if they can as it will shine a positive light on a great and noble sport that was cruelly prohibited by those shower of b*****ds in the labour party. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
