Pilgrim 1
what really worries me atm is the young uns in my area(not all of them ) they seem to have no idea how to conduct themselves as regards back filling, common sence, treatment of quarry etc..this is after they have been out with the older, more experianced lads in the area, trying to show them the ropes Not all of these twits are young'uns either if its anything like around here. Some pricks have no idea and these types will do far,far more damage to our image always than any anti. The main trouble has always been within Edited January 10, 2012 by Pilgrim 1 Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
Its not all down to the rifle men althiugh they will take a big amount.I think snaring takes every bit as much,on an estate beside me a few year back a keeper snared 98 head of game in a few weeks, there is about 2000 acres in it,how would it come back from that,it would take a long time. onion jonny 526
in reply to the question yes it is fecked and it will only get worse, we tried twenty nine spots over the weekend without success, we have been out a good few times in the last month and only scoring the once and that was a four hour round trip for a half hour dig. i'm running on two pups for next year and i'm starting to wonder if its going to be worth it, sorry to sound so morbid but its soul destroying its definatly the worst season in over two decades for me.
