Just wondering when you hear about good coursing dogs the likes off lucky and foxy etc etc or ones that won big competitions or lots matches is there just a special one out each litter or is there any litters from the past that has though a few good ones at the same time

good question iceman,i cant help im afraid,but this should be interesting!keep seeing "breed worker to worker"in wich case there should be plenty of litters of winners!atb dave...then we can get into nature v nurture lol

Just sims to me that only one would reach the top off its game and the others you never hear about does not mean they where bad dogs could be wrong and that is why am asking

totally agree with both of ya ,how many times have we heard"best dog i had was my first one ,non descript breeding etc etc"maybe because getting rid at the first problem wasnt an option,and full of enthusiasm spent loads of time with the dog some people would ruin a belter and vice versa.you cant polish a turd ...but you can decorate it with glitter!!!

think it very rear that u will get a full litter of top pups as some one said down to the owner as well some will get a better start than otherts diffrent kind of condiioning fitness ect ect the normal person who only hunts once a week for hares is never going to b as good or as fit as a dog that hunts twice a week or 3 times the more times out the better they get the fitter they get and gather more expirence
