Gaz_1989 9,539 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Share Posted February 23, 2012 My dad has got a Doberman bitch that would stick with my 12 month old saluki/whippet/greyhound in a small field. He lost her on the turn but she would catch up and he would lose her on massive straights as he had better top end. But this bitch wasn't and isn't fit. My dog was getting road running and off lead every day. The Doberman was a house dog lucky if walked once a week. She would take Charlie single handed Pre Ban of course and rabbits with ease. Very clever bitch and extremely high prey drive. From what I understand though it is only the imported ones that remain to have this fire? A lot of the more recent UK KC stuff isn't the same? My dad has got another dobe that couldn't catch a cold on a wet day. Gaz Quote Link to post
