David K 172
Hi Trev, was the cost of delivery for your net making gear from the UK very expensive? I live in Cork as well and can't find anyone over here who supplies twine and rings either, I'm going over to the UK at the end of the week visiting relatives, so I am going to bring some gear back with me. I have been practising with garden twine and a home made wooden needle and think I have got the hang of it. Quote Link to post

I have 7 inch needles and 100 rings ......i used these guys https://www.arthurcarteruradshop.co.uk. and as they didnt have the poly in stock they said when they do they give me free shipping on them. I tried everywhere marine shops the whole lot and couldnt find them anywhere. Quote Link to post
