KenKeeping 13
Ive been perscribed Malaseb Shampoo for the Hob, and my Sal-x. Would that be any good for Mange? As I have a bottle, might be worth keeping it around if it is. It was perscribed for a fungal infection the hob had, and a skin problem that the Sal-x has. How do you know Mange? What do I have to keep an eye open for? Ken

Do you not think you'd maybe be better gettin a vet to prescribe something, rather than waiting a week or two, if the bitch is doing a fair bit of scratching. If its Mange you won,t be able to wait 1 day to treat it,get around a few Chemists as soon as,look for a late night Chemist tonight, ask for Ascabiol, same as Benzyl 1/2 the price, tell Chemist its for you, they probably won,t let you have it if you say its for the dog, dilute 1/2 and 1/2 with water and rub it into the dogs skin, making sure you cover all of it,be careful round the eyes, burn its bedding and treat its living quarters before putting the dog back.
