MR TEA POT 1,287 Posted January 8, 2012 Report Share Posted January 8, 2012 Well after checking the snares(see snaring section) me and bodgerbear went on to do a bit of ferreting,so on to the first sett nets down and waited 5 mins bump bump WHAM rabbit hits the net at speed,ferret went back 10 mins WHAM another rabbit hits a net ONLY THIS TIME SOMEBODY WAS A BIT SLOW IN GETTING TO IT WASNT HE BODGERBEAR and it escaped,told you i wouldnt say anything bodgerbear .So back to the car after BB had picked ALL the nets up and carried ALL the gear back to the car,that will teach him to be quicker and pay more attention I found a little 4 hole sett never noticed it before,so nets on ferret in and a quick rabbit in the net.Quick drive to another bit of permish,first sett nets down 2 rabbits in quick sucsession,every thing was going great till the next sett.The sett was on a steep bank with undergrowth and nettles all over it so we netted up what holes we could find and put ferret in within seconds a rabbit in the net,the next four rabbits where not so willing,they all bolted out of holes we missed :icon_redface: .After that it was time to pack up BODGERBEAR had a 60th birthday party to go to.So all in all not a bad day,thanks again BODGERBEAR A few pics THE LAST WARREN OF THE DAY WHERE THE RABBITS ESCAPED END OF DAY SHOT INCLUDING SNARED RABBITS AND HARES.
