Rake aboot 4,936
Before the spring anyway. Are you getting him castrated or vasectomised,, big difference,, and a vasectomised hob is a VERY handy beast to have,, no more jill jabs etc,, Niether will affect his work Quote Link to post

The one 8,529
Best getting him snipped ,its easier on the hob once his balls have dropped though . Quote Link to post
Trev Smilerface 38
vasectomised wht you mean it very handy how ? which you think is better to have done If your hob is vasectomised then he can bring a jill out of season still, without breeding. If you go the full monty (castration) then he wont be able to service any jills you have if they come into season.......im getting mine vasectomised beacause the jill i have i dont know if she has been done or not and im not waiting till she comes into season to find out :icon_eek: Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
vasectomised wht you mean it very handy how ? which you think is better to have done He spends all summer shagging jills and you have no kits,, they come out of season and you save on jill jabs Quote Link to post
loveferreting 2
so if i get him vasectomised i can keep him with the jills and when best time to get him done Quote Link to post
loveferreting 2
so cant really leave it till spring then Quote Link to post
Trev Smilerface 38
Not unless you want a few more ferrets  Quote Link to post
loveferreting 2
how much they roughly cost Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
You have to leave around 6 weeks for his working semen time to leave his system, if not you could accidently end up with a litter,, So figure how long you want to leave the jills in season,, using his 6 weeks till he`s ready.
