youl never see good dogs if you never leave the areas lernt that twenty odd years ago , travelkd far and wide from here to new mexico south north saw some very good dogs champions at there sport and my own type , mines not a type but can run an dpre ba caut anything so atype but not brother to sister just good to good all the time

Shame the selectivity doesn't start with the parentage then. Being more selctive at that stage saves a lot of wastage, what there is tends to be natural.

I'd never sell on an adult dog, if i couldnt keep it for some kind of work myself, i would either find it a home with some one that i knew who had a working use for it, or give it away to a trusted pet home.

 

If it had failed to make the grade i would have it spayed / castrated.

 

Simples.

 

To be honest i wouldnt shoot it unless it was a danger to people or livestock.

 

So wind your neck in.

Dunno mate, most folk either take the easy option, or just pass it on to get their money back i guess.

 

The biggest problem is not really what folk do with bad dogs, it's that so many breed so much shit.
