Wanted Terrier pup for family pet.

Hi I thought this might be worth a try here.

A friend of mine is looking for a dog but his wife is allergic so he needs a breed that dont loose their coat, bedlington, border, poodle etc He ideally wants a border but is willing to consider other breeds as he has been looking for a while now but they are all too expensive. He wants it for a family pet, he has 4 children. He doesn't mind about papers, it wont be being shown, he doesnt mind about working stock as it wont be working. It will be spayed/neutered and will not be bred from guarenteed.

I was thinking...any that dont make the grade, look like they are not going be any good for working (I'm not too clued up on terrieirs so not sure if you can even tell unless you try them!) or any litters that will be sold for an affordable price please let me know, there is a very very good pet home waiting.

i have just had a litter of 5 paterdale terriers. me and the kids are allergic both to dogs and cats but these dogs dont bother any of us.
