Guest baldie Posted April 15, 2007 Report Share Posted April 15, 2007 Only fished it once, and didn,t catch owt, but we were,nt seriously fishing, just passing an hour when we were courting. Its a glacial lake, there is gonna be pike and perch in abundance, almost certainly brown trout, and i do know it contains one or two very rare species, like arctic char, and vendace i think they are called. If you are piking, livebaits, and dead coarse baits are banned, to protect the aforementioned rare species, its sea baits only. Quote Link to post

I drove around it on the way home to Edinburgh a few days ago and it looked great. I saw some people launching some small rowing boats and it looks like you can just pull up and put your boat in anywhere.
