mikey2341 0
I'm off to watch a field trial tomorrow, and I'm currious as to how many of the people trialling the dogs competing will actually work their dogs to either rough shooting or on a "propper shoot"? Is trialling a sport of it's own, or is there plenty of crossover between the two? Quote Link to post
Francentey-FTB 29
I believe that to have a well polished dog it must be shot over and have game sense, the top triallers will do alot of rough shooting over there dogs, dont think many will let them run around on a shoot day... Mooch. 177
One of the other pickers up on the shoot I pick up on is an A panel judge. He works 4 labs and puts the rest of us to shame! Another picker uper is a B panel judge. Edited January 7, 2012 by Mooch. Quote Link to post
