Hi folks, I am now selling my 2001 model Land Rover Defender Td5 hardtop 3 door, this car is in outstanding condition (regardless of age)! Chassis as it should be & bodywork unmarked! Mileage 134 000. Epsom green. I am the second owner. The specification of the car is as follows.

 

PTO Winch system fitted max load 3800Kg

Regularly cared for & maintained regardless of cost, (just been serviced)

Factory fit RCL with alarm and immobiliser

Factory fit electric windows.

Land Rover mud flaps & floor mats

5 Freestyle alloys (all refurbished, look like brand new)!

Upgraded chassis (as built)

Twing springs / upgraded struts

11 Month MOT

11 Month Tax

2 Owner vehicle

:laugh: the cheek first post and your trying to rip someone off ,you will need more than luck to sell it at that price ,it does not matter what you have fitted to it it is still a 2001 vehicle with 134000 miles on it.

Not always the case, with a Defender, what you add can add value. It is the choice of the extras which can make the difference. For example if someone fitted a Galvanized Chassis or Bulkhead or both, replacement lower mileage Engine, Air diff lock, correct Wheels and Tyres. In this case, "Your Eye is your guide".......he's not trying to rip someone off. Not as easy as saying "2001 vehicle with 134000 miles on it", if it was a Car, maybe. I am on my 5th 'Land Rover 90' in a row, this one's a 300tdi Defender.

Well I can see your somebody that doesn't have a clue about defenders and if you read the add properly you would see there is a very expensive and very powerful PTO winch with upgraded bumber guard fitted along with a set of 5 Wrangler mud wheels, (which if not required would take the price to 8850 o.v.n.o)

The winch is worth £7/800 if taken off and sold separately which would in turn stand the car at £8150 o.v.n.o.

 

If I then took the 5 newly refurbished freestyle alloys off with matching Michelin tyres, and put cheap thin steel wheels on, not to mention the very rare electric windows option fitted and factory fit remote central locking incorporating Thatcham category 1 immobiliser and alarm with (two horns) maybe now you would start to get the value of all the equipment specification with this car you just don't get on others.

 

So with this in mind please re-compare to other 2001 model Td5, 110 defenders with the zero VAT in mind and fantastic bodywork.
