HALTY LAD 92
Good bull cross CAN turn, and they have more drive, more determination, more jaw than any other cross going. Now dont get me wrong I keep and work other types of lurcher, as there are benefits to be had from different strains. Dont knock them, they have their place and will no doubt keep it with those that need that special something. Ive seen them take all quarry day and night, I mean all quarry, from rats to boar and red deer. No other dog will give that much to its game than the bull terrier Quote Link to post

No other dog will give that much to its game than the bull terrier your right dogs can turn,,,,but i know some heavy well built dogs cant turn,,,,,,,it all depends on the speed they reach and height dont post on here if ya dont know,,,,,ive seen the old fashion bully types cant and some can,,,but ive seen many not turn and whack straight into tree or fence,,,,uve answered ur own post it comes down to determination,,,,yet a similar dog can fall in that trap themselfs,,and be half a ton lighter and built and be as skinny as a ss whippet lol Edited January 5, 2012 by whip x grey Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
My answer to that Gafer is to stick to what you know, getting a 'genuine' first cross animal these days would be hard enough, getting one out of the right stuff, that would throw the right stuff to suit your needs would be a fecking nightmare! 1 Quote Link to post
donkdaniel 236
Exactly you have shit bulls like you have shit salukys or any other breed it's not the breed in general it's the breeding of a perticular dog and as all litters thay can throw some really good or really crap dogs out of same litter same with humans you get same mam and dad but perhaps one offspring stronger than the other Quote Link to post
