Cold Ethyl 63
Its not always their fault we know a few ex soldiers who are forced to live in a bedsit with kids because they get f**k all for defending their country its disgusting yet if your a drug addict or pump out half a dozen kids at 14 you get one no probs.I have bought boxes of dog food and stuff for tramps dogs in the past and i once had a sausage supper launched at me guy said he was starving did i have a quid thought i was doing good by buying him a dinner and he went f*****g mental

GrCh 856
Never understood why folk sleep on the streets? If i found myself in that position i think i rob a shop, worse that could happen is i get caught and thrown in jail where i'll have a bed, tv, playstation and 3 square meals a day... not the only reason you'd like to be in jail is is lab???? "I'll pick the soap up for you Tyrone".

You can't even mention that you've got a kind hearted mother on here without some lads getting a boner! Oedipus complex anyone..?

Cause the way i see things when you going the army the downside of things is obvioulsy you are putting yourself in a dangerous enviroment and possibily in some situations endangering your life. The up side is you get to travel the world, get a decent wage, meals and accomadation and because you cant spend the money you earn when your away in war zones wouldn't a nice little nest egg build up in your bank account? RossM 8,149
I have a mate who when asked if he could spare some change replies " aye I probably could aye!" and keeps walking or chucks a pound in and then takes change out the cup, the look on the tramps faces are priceless at the 2nd action, I know it's not right but it is a wee bit funny! scothunter 12,609
good question lab. i would think just because they are soldiers,it does not give them a pass in everyday troubles and obstacles we face as human beings. divorce, unemployed, depression drinker gambler etc. lets face it,as much as i think they are brave lads and respect them for risking life and limb. its a job and like any other job, when you leave you need to get another. or struggle as others do. granted i do think they ought to be ivaluated (spelling)before leaving, instead of just well done, heres a few medals.good luck.
