Ideation 8,216
I just like dogs at work. I can watch any dog work and enjoy / appreciate it - be it a collie herding a flock, agility and security work, or hunting with teriers, spaniels, lurchers or long dogs. If my dog is layed up i will happily get out with other folk and their dogs, better than being sat at home dreaming. However, nothing replaces the magic of working your own dog. Quote Link to post
BrianSteven72 369
watching other guys dogs work is good to see how they compare to yours but not the same as watching your own one you have bread and trained Quote Link to post

Moll. 1,770
Love watching any youngsters learning their trade. Other than that i don't mind watching other dogs, but would not go out without one of my dogs just to watch someone else's. Quote Link to post

Guest long-tail
working your own dog just got that feeling about it that nothing can compare to although do like to see others at times, few iv seen have been more than adequate at their job and a few more had me in fecking stitches with the usual................oh it never done that before thrown in for good measure Quote Link to post
THLpatrick 555
I enjoy watching all dogs work, and appreciate them all the same, obviously because ive just began i think its good to get out mooching with my dog and others, socialising and learning bit by bit, ive never tuck my pup lamping with another dog, because when i lamp i want it to learn all from me and no bad habbits, but i love all dogs and most breeds, and just like getting out and seing dogs interact and work , and how one dog works to another and how they can soon learn to work as a pack.
