We see a Saluki shaking an Arabian Wolf to death, and we still get people moaning about the dogs in the background !! F**k the pups in the background !! I would love that dog in my kennel, what have the moaners got in their kennels ?

Cheers.

well knob.. i wouldnt take out pups that were not ready to get in about, which they obviosly aint, they didnt even have a chew :icon_eek: o and as for wantin that dog in your kennels it dont really say much for what your keeping now dos it, ok it went well for a saluki but its work rate etc is absolutly no difference to alot of lurchers that go with things with teeth week in week out...

I've got dogs in my kennel that do what I want them to do. There aren't any Arabian Wolves around here, but I had a Saluki that woud kill Wild dogs in the middle east. You obviously have great experience of dogs taking things that bite back, no, not foxes, my little bitch does them easy enough, I mean jackals, coyotes, wolves, etc. so I bow to your superior knowledge............... And if you cant have a sensible conversation without calling people "knobs", don't bother replying.

Cheers.

look i posted a comment on a thread which you didnt even start, and you come and question what i keep in my kennels  .. and that was because ??????

Haven't got a clue what you keep in your kennels or even what you are on about ! Paranoid or what ? I certainly didn't call any one a "knob" and as far as I can see, you were questioning the calibre of the contents of my Kennel !! That saluki killed an Arabian Wolf, If that fails to impress you and you own better dogs, good luck to you. Why all the beligerence on what was otherwise a good thread ?

Cheers.

good to see pure breeds doing what they were bred to do ,hunt and kill , not a ribbon bow in sight or a brush no mincers from the kennel club there just lads doing what they have done for centurys long before computers etc , all the best

Yep good hard dog, stuck with it until it killed it in the end,not my cup of tea mind, would have like to have seen it ended quicker.but i take my hat off to the saluki as that wolf was a big strong looking fecker.

Its a pity you didnt see the course beforehand and see the saluki close in and take its prey, that would have been good to watch :clapper:

Agree, to have seen the course, it would of been good. Im sure its a Jackle though, just a big one.

I have a soft spot for wolfs, but i think them arabian ones are much the same as Jackles. :hmm:

It was some dog and i would not like it to share a kennel with any other dog, as id say their would be no messing with him.

Hi Frank, my arabic is getting a bit rusty now, but Slooqi w theeb, means saluki and wolf in arabic. Judjing by the sound track, they are arabs, and the wolf is more common on the Arabian Penninsula than the Jackal. And yes, the Arabian wolf is smaller than the American or european varieties.
